The Conference of Stakeholders on Curriculum framework of Computer Engineering

On the morning of December 3, 2019, at University of Science and Technology – University of Danang(DUT) took place the Conference of Stakeholders on the Framework Curriculum of Computer Engineering under the chaired chair of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Head of Electronics and Telecommunications.
Attending the Workshop, there were the presence of Dr. Phan Minh Duc - Vice Rector of the University, MSc. Nguyen Van Phong - Deputy Head of Training Department, Head of faculties of Electronics industry; The teachers are lecturers of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; the teachers in the Drafting Team work together with representatives of recruiting businesses with activities related to Computer Engineering in the Central Region - Central Highlands.

The seminar aimed to listen to the opinions of stakeholders including representatives of the University, representatives of businesses, lecturers, alumni, graduate students, PhD students, graduate students and undergraduates. Different perspectives on goals, output standards, training programs for engineers in Computer Engineering. Thereby helping the Faculty make the necessary additions, changes or adjustments, to build a high quality training program to meet the labor requirements of society in the new era.
 



Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Dean of Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunication gave the opening speech.

Computer Engineering is currently recruited at a number of universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City such as Hanoi University of Technology, Hanoi University of Technology, VNU, University of Information Technology, and National University of Ho Chi Minh City. . The pace of training in Computer Engineering with universities at both ends of the country, coupled with the shortage of high quality human resources, can meet the requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0 environment, where employees Ministry of Technology, managers must be intelligent managers, and must have knowledge and skills across industries including information technology, computer engineering, mechanics, electronics, telecommunications ... is an indispensable trend for the Faculty to build a framework of training and enrollment programs in Computer Engineering.

At the seminar, the delegates frankly exchanged and commented on the content of the training program framework of the sector and the members of the drafting team also explained and absorbed the opinions of the stakeholders on the contents of the curriculum framework contributing to the completion of the project to open Computer Engineering.
